It seems to have been quite the struggle (mentioning v1 started a couple of months ago). Finally version 1.0 of the fantastic javascript framework Mootools is out and ready for you to download.

I started using Mootools casually quite some time ago. liked it instantly. In contrast with other major javascript frameworks, I liked the small filesize and low entry level needed for using Mootools in your project. Although the initial purpose for Mootools seems to be javascript based tweening, version 1.0 contains all kinds of other great tools which should make your javascript programming days feel less like a burdon :)

Great book, but not if you need a lot of background or tutorials about the inner workings of AS3/Flex in general. Problem/solution orientated, meaning it contains a long list of common programming issues and delivers an approach on how to solve it.

Righto… WordPress all setup….Mootools’ state is good enough to produce the effects i had in mind… looks like it’s time to take off.

New job! Since january 1st 2007, I will be working at the recently started FrontEndCentre of LogicaCMG. My duties will mostly concern the field of Rich Internet Applications, to which I am really looking forward to. It will be very likely that most of my efforts will contain Flex one way or the other. Hope to be able to post some interesting stuff here. Not only regarding the technical side of things but also on the softer issues which can arise while developing Rich Internet Apps. If you have any good ideas or topics you whish to share, please let me know.
