Well, it took a while but I finally found out how to implement the new AS2.0 orientated Remoting Classes. The problem was that there are so many files available from macromedia, claiming they are the correct ones, which they aren’t. The tutorials, explanations, livedocs, etc. available through the MM help pages, are still written in AS1.0 format so that doesn’t help much also :)
But i luckily ran into Aral’s blog where he seemed to have the very exact same problem as I did. Even better, he also pointed me to the pure AS2.0 classes instead of those diry ol’ common library items.
Jeez, why doesn’t MM only make available these Classes? Why all the fuss with common libs, multiple files, etc. Or at least mention it on the Frontpage of Flash Remoting….would have safed me so much time.
Anyway, without further ado, tadaa.
