As promised, the first RIA ever to roll out of my FlashZone efforts. It ain’t pretty, but it helped me test out my directory setup and way of developing applications.

fzShoutBox is an app which loads ’shouts’ out of an MySQL database. This has been accomplished by creating a PHP interface, which spits out a pure xml document for the swf to read. The same PHP file can also receive new shouts to insert them in the database.

This version is absolutely not intended to be a final product. Instead, i just wanted to put it online, and hope to see anyone take an intereset for it. Before i forget, i owe Jolan the credit for the smiley graphics, i took them out of his SmileyTextFieldComponent, since i lack any form of creative talent ;)
